Buckshead Tavern

Mr James Beveridge built the "Buckshead Tavern" in 1858. At the end of the 19th Century it was known as the 'West End Vaults'.

It was a hub where the men gathered and various organisations were initiated. for example, Armadale Public House Society (who later created 'The Goth'), The Freemasons and the Ancient Lodge of Free Gardeners.
